Lilly and Reiki

I m turning over this weeks post to a my good friend, Daryl. My name is Daryl Conner. I know Mary because we are both pet groomers. She came to visit my house a few years back and met my dogs. Lilly, my old Boxer was having some troubles with spinal arthritis. Working with my veterinarian we had her on some pain medications that were making her more comfortable, but she had some distinct mobility problems and was still in some pain. Mary offered to do some Reiki on her, long distance. I knew NOTHING about Reiki, and had no expectations at all. I agreed, pleased that Mary cared enough to offer this, and then, to be honest, rather forgot all about it. Lilly had always been able to nimbly leap up on our sofa. As her arthritis worsened, she had to really struggle to get up. She d get her front legs on the cushion, then her right rear leg, then really have to work hard to get the left rear leg up. One morning while enjoying a cup of tea I noticed that she very easily got both rear legs up.
